Well here´s a personal project i´ve just finished; i make it for my design portfolio; i wanted to do a biologically (to a certain extent) correct brain, but i didn´t found any tutorials to make it in 3d max so i had no choice but to start to do it and experimenting, and i found a way that got me where i wanted to go, more or less.

I wanted the final image to look like a poster for an old horror movie, like those made in the forties.
